Celebrate the past, present and future of jazz in Des Moines at the annual Jazz Hall of Fame sponsored by the Community Jazz Center of Greater Des Moines. Vocalist Tina Haase-Findlay and pianist Bruce Martin will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Educator/trombonist John Benoit, The Des Moines Social Club, guitarist Austin Brown and trumpeter/Waukee High junior Davis Dalton will also be recognized for their contributions to the jazz scene. The program will also feature music presented by a numner of local musicians, including this year’s honorees.
